CJ CUP BYRON NELSON WILL HAVE FAVORABLE SPOT ON PGA TOUR CALENDAR IN 2027

Late Sunday morning, before the final pairing of Si Woo Kim and Scottie Scheffler teed off, CJ CUP Byron Nelson officials learned the day would have at least one significant positive, regardless of the outcome.

The PGA Tour informed the Nelson that next year’s tournament will have a much more favorable spot on the calendar – April 29 through May 1 – than it had this year. Thus the Nelson will avoid bumping against the 2027 PGA Championship next May 20-23 at PGA Frisco’s Fields Ranch East Course.
