PGA veteran Roger Sloan was spotted in a Jamie Benn jersey today during The CJ CUP Byron Nelson. Rogers teed off at the TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney’s iconic 17th hole.
The CJ Cup Byron Nelson takes place at McKinney’s TPC Craig Ranch from May 2-5, 2024. This four-day televised tournament marks the continuation of a five-year partnership with the PGA, promising to attract visitors, boost economic prospects and garner global recognition for the city of McKinney.
Jason Day, champion of the 2023 Byron Nelson, and K.H. Lee, who secured victory in 2021 and 2022, are both confirmed to vie for the title once again, along with Dallas’s hometown hero Jordon Spieth, the 2022 runner-up. They’ll all be contending for a portion of the $9.5 million prize pool, with each winner’s share amounting to $1.71 million.
The Dallas Stars are currently competing for the Stanley Cup, with a game against the Golden Knights on May 3 at 9 p.m.
