Scottie Scheffler returns to CJ Cup Byron Nelson after missing last year’s tournament

After missing last year’s CJ Cup Byron Nelson golf tournament, the world’s No. 1 golfer is returning to the field.

Scottie Scheffler will be playing in the CJ Cup Byron Nelson tournament at TPC Craig Ranch this May, according to an announcement from the tournament. This year’s event runs May 1-4.

Dallas’ Scheffler played in the Nelson every year from 2018-2023, but missed last year’s event while he and his wife, Meredith, were expecting the birth of their child.
